SAG Defined

Narrow (or wide curtain-like) downward movement of a paint or varnish film; may be caused by the application of too much coating, the collection of excess quantities of paint at irregularities in the surface (cracks, holes, etc.), or excessive material continuing to flow after the surrounding surface has set. Also referred to as runs or tears.

Prospective members invited to artists meeting

The Suburban Artists Guild (SAG) of Central New Jersey will hold an open membership meeting at 1 p.m. Sept. 12 at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center, Ryders Lane. A light luncheon will be served. Adult artists of all ages and levels, beginner to professional, are welcome to attend and join the painting and drawing group.
